My adventure through my 20's

The most dangerous phrase in the language is…

I used to be afraid of change. But as I got older I learned to embrace it. Nothing ever stays the same. I figure I might as well embrace it and enjoy the ride, and maybe something amazing will come along.

Textured Wall Tile

The textured wall tile is a great way to have a unique room. I like how it is the accent wall of the room. It shows that you don’t need to paint the wall a different color just to have an accent wall. It can be as simple as just adding some texture. I wish I could do this at my apartment!

Dreamy Shower

One day I hope to have a shower this amazing! The built in storage is amazing. Plus, I feel like it would be a lot easier  to shave my legs if I had that much space!

A Sad Tragedy

I am still shocked and saddened by this news. He was one of my all time favorite actors and comedians. Like many other people, I grew up watching him, and his movies were a large part of my childhood and life. My mother and I share a lot of memories watching his movies. It started when I was a child watching Aladdin, and when I grew older The Birdcage was one of our favorite movies and we always made time to watch it together. I remember having a sweatshirt that said ‘Carpe Diem’ and I had no idea what it meant. Then, one day, my English teacher showed us the movie Dead Poets Society. I instantly fell in love with the movie, and Carpe Diem (Seize the day) became words that I live by. I also had a new found appreciation for my sweatshirt.

The world has lost an incredibly talented man. I hope that wherever he is he has found peace. Rest in Peace Robin Williams. You will truly be missed.

Out With The Old

One of the greatest feelings has to be getting home & finding out the neighbors you don’t like are moving! And the best part is that the quiet neighbors in the studio apartment will be taking their place. Now the new neighbors just have to be as awesome and nice as the rest of the building 🙂
